FAQ’s:
How do I reserve my time slot?
Please contact me here to get in touch with me to let me know you're interested. I'll send you a link to pay the session fee of $200 and sign a simple contract. Then we'll have you choose your time slot! Easy as that! I accept all major credit cards. Your time slot will not be yours until payment is received.
What should I expect during the session?
Your session will be approximately 20 minutes long, starting at the time you have reserved. I will lead you through a few different poses or directions that make you look your absolute best! It will be a lot of fun and goofing around. That’s all there is to it!
What should we wear?
Generally, the best clothes to wear will fit you well, be clean, and coordinate with the other people in the photograph. That means that if you decide that it's going to be more formal, everyone should be formal, but if you want a more casual image, everyone should dress more casually. Also, it means that your colors should go with everyone else, but not actually be all matching. Bright jewel toned colors like Jade Green, Purple, Reds, Blues and Turquoise photograph really well. What should I expect after the session?
A few weeks after your session, you will get access to an online gallery of your best images from the session that have been edited by me and are ready to go! You will get a coupon code to allow you to download your favorite 3 images from your session! I can also design custom holiday cards for you, and you can purchase prints, canvases, and all sorts of other gifts for yourself or your friends and family! You should expect to see 10-20 images from your session to choose from in your gallery, and you can share the link with anyone you choose. There will be a deadline for orders that you would like to have arrive before Christmas, and that will be outlined in the contract you will sign for the session.
How do I find my online gallery?
A few weeks after your session, once I have been able to go through all your images and edit the very best ones, you will receive an email notification that your gallery is ready with a link to the gallery.
What is the turn around time for the prints and products I order from my online gallery?
Typically, the turn-around time for prints and most products is between 2-4 weeks after your order is placed. Once I know the deadline for certain products for Christmas and the Holidays, I will communicate that to you. Typically, if I receive your order by the 1st week in December, I should be able to get the products to you in time for Christmas.
What do I do if I want the custom holiday cards that you said you can design for me?
After you have paid for and reserved a time slot, I will send you an information packet that will include the session contract and a few other pieces of information including the Holiday Card Designs I will have available. When you turn in your paperwork at your mini Session, you can indicate that you would like Holiday Cards designed for you and you will receive more information when your gallery is available to you. Please note: In order to receive the cards in time to send them out for the holidays, you may be required to choose the design and favorite images quickly. Please be aware of this when considering ordering.
Do I get the digital files of the images?
The $200 session fee includes my time and talent on-location as well as the time it takes to review and edit your images, post them to the online gallery, and design any custom products you may request. This year, you will also get your favorite 3 images as digital files with personal-use rights. If you are interested in purchasing any additional images from your session as a digital file, you will be able to do that in the online gallery at a discounted rate.
What if I need to cancel my mini session after I’ve reserved a time?
We will first try to reschedule your session on one of the other days or times available. If that isn’t possible, I will work with you individually to figure out a solution. The session fees are typically non-refundable.
Other Important Things to Remember:
- Please be on time or early. If you are late for or miss your time slot, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to take your picture.
- These mini sessions go quickly, so I have to limit the number of people per session to 6. If there are more people in your family that you’d like to include, you may book two time slots. Or booking a full custom session on another date.
- Due to the sessions being only 20 minutes long, there will not be any wardrobe changes allowed. Again, if you’d like to do a wardrobe change, you may consider reserving two mini session spots or booking a full session with me on another date.
